The ASHR3 researcher team does not conduct the study interviews. All interviews are conducted and managed by the Social Research Centre (SRC).
Participants are contacted via random-digit dialling on mobile phones only. The mobile phone numbers are randomly generated by computer. This is the best way to obtain a representative sample and to make sure we get opinions from a wide range of people.
Participants are also contacted using mobile phone numbers provided by a commercial list provider. These lists include telephone numbers listed in the white pages along with lists from other parties such as charities, telemarketing companies and other business entities. The list provider is SamplePages. More information can be found on their website, http://www.samplepages.com.au.
You can only take part in the survey if you were contacted directly by SRC. Participating in the survey is entirely voluntary and you can opt out at any time.
